    I love this game, it's such fun and I love that you can play it alone. It is also beautifully designed. Just wanted to double check, if you're playing with Ghosts, on their turn do they choose an action on their turn, or do they just reroll a die? Also, concerning the Ghosts reroll, if they're the cart in front when an apple is shown then who moves cos no one is in front of them?

    • @Facade_Games
      @Facade_Games Месяц назад

      Thank you, I'm so glad you're enjoying it! If playing with a Ghost, they will always roll one die on their turn. They will roll the die that is of the cart furthest ahead that is not their own. And they will roll an apple of that color, if possible, and a rat if not. After their roll, if they ended up rolling any color of apple they will move forward in some way. They will elbow forward if they are not in front of their current cart. They will dash to the cart ahead of theirs if they are at the front of their cart. And if they are at the front of the first cart, they will push the player who is on their cart sitting furthest back on that cart. If the ghost is alone in the first cart then they will do nothing. Does that answer?

    0:55 The placement of meeples in the carts is incorrect. With 5 players you start with 2 in birch, 2 in cedar, and 1 in oak. I've seen the placement done a couple of different ways: fill birch then cedar then oak OR fill 1st positions then 2nd positions then 3rd positions (as needed based on player count) going birch -> cedar -> oak, that is B1,C1,O1,B2,C2,O2,B3,C3,O3. That's kind of what you did, but in the reverse order so the "slower" carts go filled first. My preferred method is 1st positions then 2nd positions then 3rd positions going birch -> cedar -> oak. That way you don't have to refer to the table in the rules to determine how many in each cart and if someone joins in as you're setting up you don't need to rearrange anything, you just throw their meeple into the bag and continue picking and placing. 1:54 Before shuffling in the 4 (boils) symptoms you need to confirm that no one starts with two 3 (chills) symptoms and the plague. The rules state all players begin sick, but not with the plague and that if you are dealt two chills to start the game you return them and draw two more. We had 2 players have that happen in a game this weekend.

    I have 4 questions The first question is about only two players remaining Is the excuse card out of play? The second question is about the girl ANN PUTNAM When you reveal a Tryal card, before revealing it, you take two cards, but if one of the two cards is Night or Conspiracy, do you reveal Tryal and then the Conspiracy or Night is activated, or will the Conspiracy or Night be activated and then reveal Tryal? The third question Player 1👨🏻‍💼🛡️ (in front of him is an asylum card) Player 2👨🏻‍💼 Player 3🧙🏻‍♂️👮🏻‍♂️ Player 3 wants to kill Player 2, but Player 3 must protect someone. Player 3 cannot protect himself Can player 3 protect player 1 so that he can kill player 2, but player 1 has asylum? The fourth question is about REPECCA When a tryal is revealed, she can take a card. If she is able to reveal a tryal to the player, does she take a card and play the same role? 🌹🌹🌹

    • @Facade_Games
      @Facade_Games 5 месяцев назад

      Hello. I am not sure what you mean by the excuse card? At 2 players the blue cards no longer have effect. For Ann Putnam, if she draws Night or Conspiracy those would happen before she reveals the Tryal. Yes, Player 3 can protect Player 1 even though it would have no effect. Yes, if Rebecca reveals a Tryal she can still take a card. Hope that helps!

    The blue skull card that contains nothing. My brother, who is 10 years old, suggested that if this card was played on anyone, he would lose his character's ability until it was removed from the curse card or the scapegoat. 💫💫💫💫💫💫💫 I suggest assigning a so-called investigator or coroner to 8-12 players. The gameplay is: When the night begins, everyone closes their eyes. Magicians, open your eyes. Choose a player to kill. Now close your eyes, witches. Now, policeman, open your eyes and place the hammer in front of the player to protect him from the witches. Close your eyes, policeman. Open your eyes, Coroner, point to one of the players. You cannot mark someone who has an asylum card or is protected by the police. Now everyone opens their eyes, who wants to confess?! what a coincidence. The player who had a mark from the coroner was killed. Now everyone closes their eyes again, Detective, open your eyes and choose one player to see all his Tryal

    In solo-mode, if you get plagued at some point, does that matter? Or are symptoms all calculated at the end?

      If you get plagued in solo mode then you immediately lose.

      Thank you! It's not currently in the plans. There are so many good pirate songs out there that we have considered putting together a playlist of recommended songs though.

      Our newest game, Hollywood 1947, has solo rules included. It will be released in the fall, but you can pre-order here: hollywood-1947.backerkit.com/survey_stores Salem 1692, Tortuga 1667, and Deadwood 1876 each go down to 2 players, but we may develop solo variants for those in the future as well.

    Thanks so much for the solo playthrough! I really love the design of this game. I tried play solo once yesterday and had a few questions would like to ask: 1. I see that on the set up, you put 2 pawns on the oak cart, but in the rulebook it said 1-3 players game there will be 2 pawns on the birch cart and 1 for each of the remaining cart. I'm not sure if that will affect the gameplay somehow. 2. On the rulebook it also said each player will start with 2 remedy cards, which I assume ghosts won't get any, but I see that you only start with 1 remedy card. I guess it's just up to you since more remedy cards to start means you have more options to choose from in the beginning? 3. I encountered a situation where me and 1 ghost were in the leading cart, and second cart was an empty cart, then the last cart had the other 2 ghosts. Then the ghost at the front of the last cart rerolled and got an apple, in this situation they have to move forward, do they immediately jump to the leading cart where I was in, and be the last place in my cart, or do they just go to the empty cart and be the front one?

      Glad you enjoyed the game! We did make some minor tweaks to the rulebook after filming this video. Nothing major, but good catches! Here are my answers: 1. The rulebook is correct. It doesn't matter a ton, but yes the birch cart will have 2 pawns. 2. The rulebook is correct. You start with 2 remedy cards, and the ghosts get none. 3. The ghost who rolled the apple would go to the front of the empty cart in the middle.

    When I catch the plague, I start giggling and can't stop. Kinda of a giveaway. My friends loved the carts and the dice with rats on them.

    When you do the Push action, isn't the pushed player supposed to go to the furthest back cart? was that a mistake in the visuals? the yellow pawn only went 1 cart back.

    • @Facade_Games

      You are correct - it is a mistake in the visual. If pushed you go to the available position that is furthest back (usually on the back of the cart in back).
